The relationship between cadmium exposure and hepatitis B susceptibility and the establishment of its prediction model
Environ Sci Pollut Res Int. 2023 Aug 10. doi: 10.1007/s11356-023-29267-1. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTCadmium, a common metal, is an environmental contaminant that is hepatotoxic and immunotoxic. Cadmium exposure may affect hepatitis B immunity. The purpose of this study was to assess the association between cadmium exposure and hepatitis B serology in the US population and to develop a model to predict susceptibility of hepatitis B. The study included 50,588 individuals in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) from 2007 to 2016. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression and dose-response cu...

Laparoscopic Anatomical Liver Resection of Segment VIII by Using ICG Fluorescence Positive Staining Under the Guidance of Laparoscopic Ultrasonography
CONCLUSIONS: Laparoscopic anatomical liver resection of S8 has been demonstrated to be feasible. Under the guidance of laparoscopic ultrasonography, ICG positive staining was proven to be optimal for Anatomical segmentectomy.PMID:37556011 | DOI:10.1245/s10434-023-13920-7

Effects of hepatitis B vaccination on hepatitis B surface antigen in neonates and its change in vivo
CONCLUSIONS: Hepatitis B vaccination can affect the level of HBsAg detected in neonatal serum, and the effect could be mitigated by delaying the measurement. Moreover, maternal anti-HBs offset the effects of neonatal vaccination on HBsAg serum levels.PMID:37551314 | PMC:PMC10321203 | DOI:10.2478/abm-2022-0029

Using Machine Learning to Identify Risk Factors and Establishing a Clinical Prediction Model to Predict Atherosclerosis Complications in Idiopathic Membranous Nephropathy
CONCLUSIONS: We've established an effective clinical prediction model for patients with IMN who also have coronary heart disease. This model holds significant potential for enhancing clinical decision-making.PMID:37553305 | DOI:10.24976/Discov.Med.202335177.52
