Clipping of a Rebleeding Ruptured Aneurysm After Woven EndoBridge Treatment
CONCLUSION: As a conclusion, re-bleeding can be seen after aneurysm treatment with the Web device. If it is planned to re-close the aneurysm treated with the web device with a surgical clip, the pressure created by the device against the vessel can be reduced with the additional clip.PMID:37715605 | DOI:10.5137/1019-5149.JTN.41381-22.2

Prenatal ultrasound monitoring and diagnostic accuracy rates of fetal congenital heart disease: A meta-analysis
Afr J Reprod Health. 2023 Jun;27(6):33-40. doi: 10.29063/ajrh2023/v27i6.4.ABSTRACTCongenital heart disease (CHD) is the most common birth defect that is caused by genetic and acquired factors. Accurate prenatal diagnosis of congenital heart disease (CHD) can ensure proper delivery and in-time postpartum management, but the diagnostic rate is not clear. PubMed, CNKI, Web of Science, Wanfang, and VIP databases were searched for publications investigating CHD during prenatal ultrasound scans. Original studies with strict screening and diagnostic criteria were included. Fixed effect model or random effect model was used accord...

How do people perceive driving risks in small towns? A case study in Central Texas
This study aims to investigate this dynamic within an understudied transportation environment - small towns in Texas, USA, defined as incorporated places with a population of less than 50,000. A web-based survey was distributed to six small towns in central Texas to ascertain perceptual traffic risk factors and personal characteristics. A participatory GIS exercise was also conducted to collect where high-risk locations were perceived and to correlate them to high crash zones. This study spatially examined the relations between perceived and observed risk locations and statistically identified a set of contributing factors...

Diagnostic accuracy of serum derived exosomes for hepatocellular carcinoma: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: The diagnostic accuracy of exosomal biomarkers is superior to that of AFP, and combining the two in a panel yields the better results.PMID:37715364 | DOI:10.1080/14737159.2023.2260306

Exercise treatments for lumbar spinal stenosis: A systematic review and intervention component analysis of randomised controlled trials
DISCUSSION: Exercise interventions for people with neurogenic claudication typically feature multiple components. Common features such as supervision, lumbar flexion, and aerobic fitness exercises and also less common features such as stretches, strengthening exercises, and psychologically informed approaches warrant consideration for inclusion when designing and optimising exercise interventions for people with lumbar spinal stenosis.PMID:37715644 | DOI:10.1177/02692155231201048

Uptake of signposting to web-based resources: pregnant women's use of a preventive web-based intervention
CONCLUSION: The data offer unique opportunities to assess the utilisation of a web-based mental health-promotion intervention following advice from a clinician. This study draws conclusions about which patients are likely to access similar resources and which practice characteristics encourage their use.TRIAL REGISTRATION: Registered in clinicaltrials.gov, Trial number: NCT04129359 Date of registration: 16/10/2019 ( https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04129359 ).PMID:37716967 | PMC:PMC10504765 | DOI:10.1186/s12875-023-02130-5

Food Addiction and Impulsivity in Clinical Populations by Gender: a Systematic Review
AbstractPurpose of ReviewFood addiction (FA) has been found to be associated with impulsivity, mainly urgency (negative and positive) and lack of perseverance. The present systematic review aimed to identify differences in impulsivity by gender and current implications of treatment regarding FA and impulsivity in clinical populations. The search was conducted in PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science (WOS) databases, using the following search terms: “food addiction” and “impuls*.” Studies were included if they were written in English, had an observational design (e.g., cross-sectional, longitudinal, case-control), and...
