Machine-Learning-Aided Prediction of Brain Metastases Development in Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancers
CONCLUSION: Analysis of the importance of input features suggests that the models are learning the relevant relationships between clinical features/development of BM. A higher number of samples is to be prioritized to improve performance. Obstructive jaundice as a rare complication of multiple pancreaticoduodenal artery aneurysms due to median arcuate ligament syndrome: a case report and review of the literature
CONCLUSION: In unexpected obstructive jaundice due to a mass with vascular origin in the head of the pancreas, PDAA should be considered, and celiac trunk should be evaluated because the main reason for PDAA is celiac trunk stenosis or occlusion by atherosclerosis or MALS. The treatment method chosen (including transarterial embolization, open surgery, or combined method) depends on the patient's clinical status and radiological findings, but transarterial embolization would be safer and should be used as a first-line method.PMID:37689729 | PMC:PMC10493028 | DOI:10.1186/s13256-023-04114-6

Quantitative anatomy of the large variant right hepatic vein: A systematic three-dimensional analysis
This study aimed to evaluate anatomical variations of the right hepatic vein using quantitative three-dimensional visualization analysis. Computed tomography images of 650 patients were retrospectively analyzed, and three-dimensional visualization was applied using the derived data to analyze large variant right hepatic veins. The proportion of the large variant right hepatic vein was 16.92% (110/650).
