A realistic model for vasectomy reversal training using swine testicles
CONCLUSIONS: The realistic model presented proved to be viable for carrying out vasectomy reversal training, due to its low cost, easy acquisition, and easy handling, and providing similar tissue characteristics to humans.PMID:37646762 | PMC:PMC10470310 | DOI:10.1590/acb383023

GSE214732 Next Generation Sequencing For Quantitative Analysis Of Hepatic Transcriptomes In Response To Squalene in Swine model
Contributors : Roubi H Abuobeid ; Luis V Herrera ; Roberto Mart ínez-Beamonte ; Jesus OsadaSeries Type : Expression profiling by high throughput sequencingOrganism : Sus scrofaPurpose: The goal of this study was to determine squalene effect on hepatic transcriptome by comparing high-throughput data for tested group vs. control group in male Large White x Landrace Large swine animalsMethod: Study the Hepatic mRNA profile of swine animals in response to a steatotic diet supplied with 0.5% squalene over a month by Transcriptome sequencing using DNBseq platform. Sequence reads that passed quality filters were mapped onto refe...
