Relationship between serum Th1/Th2 imbalance and depression in elderly patients with COPD and its clinical implications
CONCLUSION: Elderly patients with COPD and depression had reduced pulmonary function and higher serum Th1/Th2 levels, and an imbalance in serum Th1/Th2 indicators was a potential risk factor for depression. Moreover, elderly patients with COPD and depression were at a higher risk of disease progression and had a worse prognosis. Thus, an imbalance in serum Th1/Th2 indicators is a potential prognostic factor for evaluating depression in patients with COPD.PMID:37694327 | DOI:10.3233/THC-230665

CONCLUSIONS: We characterized the relation between cognitive processes and mood malleability in response to stress. Quality of life in children with food allergies, psychiatric symptoms, and caregiving burden of their mothers
CONCLUSION: In order to develop a multidisciplinary approach for children with food allergies, we conceived as appropriate to inform their families about the difficulties of caregiving and psychosocial disorders that could develop over time. The interplay of physical and cognitive function in rehabilitation of interstitial lung disease patients: a narrative review
CONCLUSIONS: Numerous underlying etiologies of ILD contribute to frailty, skeletal muscle and cognitive function, but their respective neurobiologic mechanisms require further investigation.
